Fıratpen Selenit 75 Series

PVC window systems are used on the exterior-facing surfaces of buildings. Due to requirements regarding wind load resistance as well as air and water tightness, different product series are selected depending on the specific project. The Fıratpen PVC window system portfolio comprises the Selenit 75, Elegance 80, Redonit 85, Zenia Slide, Zenia Hebeschiebe, and Klasik Sürme (Classic Sliding) systems. With its 6-chamber design, triple-gasket structure, and Class A wall thickness options, the Selenit 75 PVC window system stands as Fıratpen’s flagship series.

System

  • All profiles in the Selenit Series have a width of 75 mm.
  • Selenit 75 B-Class and Selenit 75 Selective A-Class feature the same wall thickness.
  • High water tightness is achieved thanks to a design that facilitates water drainage.
  • Sash sagging is prevented thanks to the applicability of the hinge reinforcement plate.
  • Aesthetic integrity is achieved through the oval molding structure.
  • It provides excellent thermal insulation with 6-chamber frame and sash profiles.
  • It possesses features capable of resolving all types of architectural and technical details through detail profiles integrated into the main profiles.
  • The glazing bead profiles are suitable for use with triple glazing up to 44 mm thick.
  • The system is suitable for use with 13 mm axis espagnolettes.
  • The strength values of the system enable its use in high-rise structures.
  • Lamination color options featuring 22 different colors and textures offer choices suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Wind Load Resistance

  • During the design of Selenit, the strength criteria of the PVC profiles, the moments of inertia of the reinforcement steel used within the system, and the resulting “wind load resistance” were prioritized to the highest degree.
  • It offers new solutions that are reliably used for high-rise structures and the roofing of wide spans.
  • The system’s grid profiles readily provide ideal strength values when architectural design requires spanning wide openings.
  • The Selenit System has successfully passed safety tests for high strength—withstanding pressures of 3,000 Pa (245 km/h)—and has achieved a C3 classification for wind load resistance.

Water and Air Tightness

  • The profiles are designed to drain rainwater that might penetrate the system to the outside by incorporating slopes and drainage channels.
  • In tests conducted under a wind load of 600 Pa (110 km/h) and a rainfall rate of 4 liters per minute, it did not allow water to leak into the interior, thereby proving its quality.

Heat Insulation

  • Based on tests conducted in accordance with the TS EN ISO 10077-2 standard—using 1.23 m x 1.43 m dimensions and glazing with a Ug value of 0.6 W/m²K—the Selenit System achieved Uf and Uw values of 1.02 W/m²K and 0.94 W/m²K, respectively.
  • The main profiles of the Selenit Series feature six wide chambers. As a result, the thermal conductivity coefficient has been reduced to the lowest possible levels.
  • The profile designs of the Selenite Series have been engineered to achieve the lowest possible thermal conductivity values.

Sound Insulation

  • It is possible to achieve sound insulation of up to 43 dB with Selenit window systems.
